What is manufacturer’s representative?
A manufacturer’s representative is employed by a manufacturer to be the eyes, ears and voice of the manufacturer out in different markets. A manufacturer’s representative, also called a Sales Rep, promotes a manufacturer’s product in their specific trade area, trains the various people in the specification and distribution line about the product, and provides some technical assistance as needed.
Where can I buy your products?
Austin Sales does not actually sell any product. Our role in our market is to educate consumers about the product and then refer them to showrooms and distributors where the product can be bought.
Do you have a showroom?
We do not have a showroom, however there are numerous showrooms throughout the state of Oklahoma where product from our manufacturers can be viewed. If you are looking for something specific, please feel free to contact our office, and we will point you in the right direction. Also, most of the manufacturers we represent have a “Where to Buy” section on their websites which will help you find a showroom in your area.

Can you recommend a contractor?
Typically we do not recommend contractors. There are many excellent contractors in our state, and it would be unfair to single any one out.
Can you help me figure out which product I need?
Absolutely. We will certainly do our best to recommend products to you from the manufacturers we represent. Please give us a call or email us, and let us know what your needs are.
Can you help write a plumbing schedule or door hardware schedule?
We sure can! We have been trained by many of our manufacturers to do just that. Both Jeff and Jeri are able to help with this. Please contact them directly for assistance.
What territory does Austin Sales cover?
We provide coverage for the entire state of Oklahoma. Our office is in Oklahoma City, but we travel to other areas of the state frequently.
